Egil just offered me the opportunity to pitch him a specialty show, and one of the ideas I gave him was for an "idm-ish" show...so we'll see...maybe it'll happen, i'll let you know... in any case, i know that he wants to try to balance out the commercial cheese with other stuff -- which is smart...because IMHO if that commercial cheese isn't there, than neither will the advertisers be. we all want a station with a higher quality playlist, but i think the approach needs to be more general in order to keep the thing on the air, at least in its early stages. i mean, think about it, an all-idm format (no matter how much we'd all praise it) would not be able to survive on a commercial frequency. america is not there yet. hell, i don't think england is there yet, either. so let's try to take the good with the bad and see the ultimate goal. if groove radio becomes somewhat successful here in los angeles, could other cities be too far away? keep your fingers crossed for me... ____ Hug Your Waistline to the Bassline Tamara Palmer trance@netcom.com Women Respond to Bass
